manufacturing defect, I'd be shocked if you got the same results from another pair, though after that I wouldnt buy another set either. Why didnt you got with same upfront as in the rear? Oh and dont listen to tire salesman, their info is just as credible as any other salesman's, honestly how exactly is a falken going to "blow away" any other similar class of performance tire? Talk to people with personal experience on the track with a tire, whether they be pros or amateurs (obviously amateurs likely will be on street tires), read the feedbacks like you did, and get in touch with someone familiar with tire design/manufacturing. You'll get much better info than it'll "blow them away". I would have left out the track part when dealing with discount tire, lol. "Honestly, I was driving my sweet grandmother to the bingo hall, when tread chunks started flying everywhere!!"
